It has been a beautiful winter and now here we are in spring. A time for rebirth and growth and color and wonder. I truly feel like I am in the spring of my life…rebirth…growth…color…wonder. Breathing in the newness that surrounds me and letting it blossom. I’m not sure what it has been about this spring…but the colors feel brighter, richer, almost edible if you will. My heart has been full… I woke up this morning to the sun peaking through my window and the little birds singing their peaceful morning lyrics. It’s almost as if they sing just for me…inviting me to the new day…. reminding me that’s it’s time for me to fly. That is what I am doing in my life…finding my wings. Looking out at the horizon, excited to explore the open space and knowing just how amazing that truly is. A new beginning every single day, a sweet song from a little bird and a colorful day waiting.

You must live at least 2 hours away from Lehi, UT to participate. Basically you get an in depth mentoring session over the phone of exactly what it is you want to know from me (if more time is wanted, another 2 hours minimum is required). I have had such a positive response from the sessions I have done in the past, I am really excited to be able to offer them again! Most of the time my mentorees and I spend a good portion of the time on editing. I use Bridge and Photoshop CS4 to edit my images. All of my images are normally edited without the use of actions in my workflow. I do use some actions on occasion and I will let you know which ones I would suggest you use to enhance an image.  What is cool our session is that you get to see what I am doing on my screen live through an online webinar. This allows you to fully see how I edit my pictures and follow along with me. The 2 hours will also give you a good amount of time to ask me in depth questions in addition to editing. Are you curious how I find the best light for any given situation? Are you interested in knowing how I meter my light? Are you looking for ways to speed up your workflow? Do you want to know what it is I look for when choosing locations? Do you want help on how to pose your clients for many different situations? Do you need help deciding what equipment purchases to make next? Do you want to know how I get smooth and creamy skin tones and texture? Would you like for me to take a look at your work and give a bit of critique? These are just a small sample of the many questions I have been asked in the past mentoring sessions. YOU CHOOSE how we spend your one on one time. Before our web mentoring session you will give me specifics of what it is you would like for me to cover and then your 2 hour time frame is tailored to your specific needs. It’s really a lot of fun and you get to learn my tricks! I have mentored so many amazing photographers in the past, from beginners to pros. It always amazes me the before and after pictures I see coming from those I have mentored.
